The CTP Experience
As a busy mama myself, I can relate to the stress that comes with planning a family photo session. That's why I'm here - to make your experience relaxed, enjoyable, and stress-free from start to finish. During your session, I will prompt you with light, natural poses. You can expect lots of candid and documentary style images throughout your gallery, too. Each session includes access to my client style guide along with one outfit and location that we choose together. To ensure we get the best photos of your precious family, I do not put a time limit on full sessions.
Most of my sessions take place in the beautiful outdoors. I have spent many hours scouting the best locations to accommodate just about any request. Unless you have a specific location in mind, rolling hills, grassy fields and open pastures are where you can expect us to explore. Locations are always confirmed prior to your session. I also have a couple studio options as well for smaller families, maternity, and branding.

We will go over all the details and plan everything out while communicating via text or email, whichever you prefer. I require a fifty percent non-refundable deposit in order to secure your date. The remaining balance will be due at the time of your session.

It's the big day! We'll dive right in to your session. All you have to do is show up - I will guide you through the rest!

FAQ
What should I wear?
Each session booked with me includes an in-depth styling guide, but I always recommend that my families dress in neutral or complementary tones and take the season into account. The most important thing is that you are comfortable and confident in what you are wearing!
Do you travel?
Yes! I travel within 30 miles of Creston, Iowa at no additional cost. A small travel fee will apply for anything outside of that range. I am always open to traveling if you have a specific location you would like your session to take place.
How far in advance should I book?
While I can book as far out in advance as my clients prefer, I typically like to book sessions within at least a month of inquiring if my schedule allows. For fall sessions, I recommend booking closer to two months in advance.
What is your turnaround time?
My turnaround time from the date of your session to the time you will receive your images is 2-3 weeks. Depending on the season, it may be sooner or later. I will always let my clients know if it will be more than 3 weeks.
What if we have to cancel or reschedule our session?
Things come up - I totally get it! I am always happy to be accommodating to my clients' needs. Unless weather-related, I allow up to one reschedule date for your session. The reason I do this is because it gets more difficult to find availability if we have to reschedule more than once.
What if it rains?
I am always watching the weather to make sure everything looks good leading up to your session. If it looks like there's going to be inclement weather the day of your session, I will reach out to form a back up plan.

I require a 50% nonrefundable deposit to secure your date with the remaining balance due at the time of your session.
